Terms of Service
Effective 30 June 2026
Synthetic Signals is a software service operated by Highly Performant Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using Synthetic Signals — including joining the early-access waitlist — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don’t use the service.
1. The service
Synthetic Signals provides a synthetic-population simulation environment for testing AI agents against a statistically representative city of synthetic humans. The simulated population is generated from public, aggregate data and does not represent real, identifiable people.
2. Early access
Synthetic Signals is currently in a curated early-access phase. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access. We may grant, decline, change, suspend, or withdraw access at our discretion, and features may change or be discontinued while the product evolves.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to, disrupt, or overload the service or its infrastructure;
- reverse engineer, resell, or misrepresent the service except as permitted by law; or
- upload content you do not have the right to use.
4. Intellectual property
Synthetic Signals, its software, content, and branding are owned by Highly Performant Limited and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms grant you no ownership rights in the service. You retain any rights in content you submit to us.
5. No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Synthetic data and simulation outputs are provided for testing and experimentation and should not be relied on as a substitute for real-world validation.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Highly Performant Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
